A Life Defined by Vision

Karen Lissy Fonthal is a Huntington Beach–based entrepreneur, executive, and community leader born in Venezuela to immigrant parents — the late Dr. Gil Fonthal, a distinguished physicist and education professor at UCI and founder of INTEDCO, and Zoila Morote, a real estate entrepreneur in her own right. Her professional journey spans an extraordinary range of disciplines — from serving as a Teaching Assistant to four genetics professors at Stanford University, to web development, health education, FDA regulatory consulting, international credentialing, real estate, and medical supply distribution. Her FDA consulting work has taken her across the globe — to dental and medical manufacturing expos in Germany, China, and Dubai — where she builds direct relationships with international manufacturers seeking entry into the U.S. market. Throughout her life, Karen has also been an avid volunteer and community advocate, dedicating her time and talents to causes close to her heart.

Through Fonthal Regulatory Group, Karen Lissy Fonthal provides U.S. Agent representation and full FDA compliance guidance for foreign medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers entering the U.S. market. Her work has taken her to international dental and medical manufacturing expos in Germany, China, and Dubai, where she forges direct partnerships with global manufacturers.
